FIVE MORE CLASSIC THRASH ALBUMS (THAT AREN'T BY THE "BIG FOUR")

This week we explore another five selections. The original post can be found HERE.

1. Sepultura - Roots Bloody Roots

Visionary and simply bludgeoning. The title track is one of those songs that make you remember where you were when you first heard it.

2. Metal Church - Metal Church

Essential. Early in the American scene, this 1984 recorded gem easily places as an all time classic.

3. Death Angel - The Ultra-Violence

The long awaited debut LP for these Bay Area originals. It sounds the way the cover looks. About the happiest a metal enthusiast can get finding a new album and wearing out the grooves.

4. Sacrifice - Forward To Termination

Possibly Toronto's finest hour of speed and aggression. Ever wondered what it would sound like to broil scorpions with a blowtorch in your throat, and do it with class? The answer lies on Forward To Termination.

5. Sabbat - History of a Time to Come

English thrashers mixed Faustian tales with the tones of ripping shred. The result can be heard on this fine record that brims with lyrical intrigue and sonic intensity.
